The Rich Brit

Financial advice for young Brits and students

About Me

Hi there! My name is Andrew Lynch. I’m a 20 year old economics student at the University of Leeds, in the UK, and this is my blog on personal finance, where I give advice for students and young people. I plan to write about saving, investing, increasing your earning potential, loans, mortgages, and all that other crap that no one really wants to think about at your age, but should, because now is the best time to get started. I’m in pretty poor financial shape now (student loans are a bastard) and probably will be for some time, but on this blog I want to share my journey out of debt and towards serious wealth.

You can find me on facebook, twitter, delicious, stumbleupon, and digg. I also write more generally at AndrewLynch.net.

Feel free to email me any time at andrewlynch88@gmail.com. I pretty much live in my inbox, so I’m sure you’ll get a quick response.

DISCLAIMER: I’m not a personal finance guru, I don’t have any magic bullets and I don’t know what the stock market will be like in a year’s time. You should take everything I say with a pinch of salt and do your own research before making any big financial decisions. I take no responsibility for any financial losses resulting from the information on this site or any site I link to.

I’m happy to take the credit for financial gains though. That’s always welcome.
